Empties #2

Hey everyone! I'm just sitting here procrastinating and not studying so I started to clean my room and decided the bag I've been keeping of empties was probably full enough to do a post on so here it is!

Mascaras- no I haven't actually gone through that many mascaras...I just actually went through all of my mascaras and got rid of the ones that were either dried up or that I don't like/ever use
Rimmel Scandal Eyes (Waterproof/Non Waterproof)- So I really liked the non waterproof kind as it made my lashes look really great and full so when I started wearing contacts again I decided to buy the waterproof kind thinking the formula would be the same...no. it's not. sadly. and I don't like the waterproof one.....it smells funny and flakes off into my eyes and doesn't volumnize at all
L'Oreal Voluminous (Waterproof/Non Waterproof)- So again I really liked the non waterproof kind but it's extremely smudgey and makes me look like a raccoon so I decided to try the "waterproof" kind....this kind was actually WORSE than the regular one! i think they labeled it wrong because the "waterproof" kind is horrid
Maybelline Mega Plush Waterproof- I absolutely hate this mascara. this should be no surprise if you've read my I Love Drugstore Makeup Tag post. the stupid bendy brush doesn't get in between my eyelashes because it keeps bending out of the way, and it doesn't apply hardly any of the product...it basically just tints my eyelashes...it's awful.

Makeup Wipes- Simple Cleansing Facial Wipes- I actually used up two packages of these as they are my favorite makeup wipe, if I am being lazy I just take my makeup off with these and then my skin is totally fine the next morning, no new spots or anything (I'm not a fan of the exfoliating version of these)
Superdrug Tea Tree Facial Cleansing Wipes- I liked these okay...they didn't really do anything either way for me though. they didn't make my spots any less and they were a bit too dry to get all of my makeup off

Oral B 3D White Toothbrush- nothing too glamorous here...I just needed a new toothbrush as my old one was getting pretty grody looking. so far it's fine..but I can never really tell the difference between toothbrushes...

Mitchum Deodorant- this was the gel kind, I liked it fine until I went on a plane and the pressure change made it explode all over the place (hence the gunk on the front) so needless to say I purchased the solid kind this time...

Venus Spa Breeze Razor Refill- I like this kind...I got a gigantic pack at costco and this is the kind with the built in soap on the sides so you don't need shaving cream. I like these because I find shaving to be such a hassle and the ease of this means I'm more likely to shave more often :)

Cutex Nourishing Nail Polish Remover- this was okay...I kind of had to use a lot of it to get my nail polish off so it went kind of quickly...but it is better than other kinds i've used

Argan Hydrating Mask- I picked this up at Sally's...I wouldn't say it was as nourishing as I think a hair mask should be, but I used it as a nourishing conditioner and I liked it just fine, but if i remember correctly this was more than the conditioner from this line and they work about the same...so next time I would just buy the conditioner

Aussie 3 Minute Miracle- as you can tell I like this stuff as there are two bottles of it I've used up. I wouldn't pick it over higher end things but it's super convenient to get and not too expensive and smells nice so I like it just fine

Tresemme Nourishing Rituals Liquid Gold Shine Therapy- I really liked this stuff...you can't see now but it was gold and sparkly. It made my hair super shiny and moisturized and I think it was $4 at target when I bought it.

Alterna Bamboo Shampoo/Conditioner Samples- I hate how these samples give you hardly any conditioner...like the shampoo is a suitable amount but I have super long hair and the conditioner was nowhere near enough. this was fine, it smelled nice. no problems here. I wouldn't say it was life changing or run out and buy it though

L'Occitane Dry Skin Hand Creme- this stuff was absolutely great. It was super nourishing and sunk into my skin really quickly. Smelled a little powdery but nothing I couldn't handle. I went out and picked up some but I thought that they were all the same so I got a lavender scented one...however it isn't the same formula as this one is especially for dry skin....so after I use up the lavender one I'll be buying this one

Phyto Hair Mask- this stuff was great, if it wasn't so expensive I would have bought a tube of it. in the sample they actually gave you enough for all of your hair. It was super thick and luxurious and moisturized my hair extremely nicely

Perricone Md Cold Plasma- you basically use this stuff as a moisturizer and it was nice and sunk into my skin really quickly and made it super smooth and soft...HOWEVER for 1 oz of this stuff it's a whopping $155 OUCH so I will not be buying it needless to say

Bliss Fabulous Foaming Face Wash- this was super nice, smelled really nice, foamed up great and got my face really clean but it doesn't do anything spectacular that my favorite Clean and Clear facewash does...and my Clean and Clear one is $4, this one is $25....

Urban Decay Heavy Metal Glitter Liner- this product has been done for a while....I just haven't wanted to admit it to myself because I loved it and it was expensive :( but I think they're great and super glittery and chunky sparkly. I adore it but obviously it's not everyone's cup of tea

I hate that I can never stick to one product I use about five at once and it makes it impossible to finish anything!!! does anyone else do this? if you've done an empties post recently send me the link! I love reading them :)
